Reason for Defibrillation Training!! The Heart Rhythm most commonly seen with sudden death is Ventricular Fibrillation, a quivering of the heart which does not sustain life. The best way to convert this Death Rhythm is to use defibrillation. Defibrillation sends an electrical charge through the heart, hopefully jolting it back to an organized life sustaining rhythm. |
