AHA Instructor Class

 

BLS Instructor Courses   Duration: 11 hours
For the person who has taken CPR and would like to teach this life saving skill. Course includes, how to teach the adult learner, what to cover in your classes, check sheets, tools and resources needed to conduct classes.

Pre-course Requirments

  • Must have current AHA BLS provider card
  • Must complete AHA Core Instructor program. This will be given to you when you sign up. Must bring completion certificate with you to skill night.
  • On skill night be prepared to demonstrate the following cpr skills: adult, child, and infant 1-person and 2-person cpr, bag value mask, pocket mask, aed, and obstructed airway. You will also take the written test. Must pass all of these to be able to take the class.
